PRIVACY POLICY EX ART. 13 OF GDPR 679/16

The Italian Multiple Sclerosis Foundation - FISM Onlus with registered office in Genoa, Via Operai 40, as Data Controller (hereinafter, " Data controller "), pursuant to art. 13 EU Regulation no. 2016/679 (hereinafter, " GDPR "), provides you the following information regarding the processing of your personal data.

1. Purpose and subject of the processing

Your personal data (for example, name, surname, residence, domicile, telephone, e-mail, educational qualification, bank details, photographic reproduction, video reproductions, audio recordings, witness ) will be processed by FISM for the following purposes:

  1. managing your participation as a learner / teacher in events, initiatives, training courses organized by FISM;
  2. executing the activities necessary to allow your registration and participation in the event and to send communications and information relating to the same event (e.g. organizational aspects; payment management; administrative aspects of ECM credits; documentation of activity, etc.);
  3. sending information brochures of Foundation concerning, in particular, future events, courses or initiatives;
  4. sharing your witness, video/ photographic reproductions, audio recordings (including through adaptation) for publication on institutional websites, social networks and more generally on communication material of the Foundation (e.g. channel news, television and print information).

Your data will also be processed in compliance with legal obligations required by laws, regulations, community legislation or orders of Authorities.
We remind you that the provision of data is mandatory for the purposes referred to letters a) and b) and the processing of your data is essential for the execution of the service requested (signing up in courses, events, or initiatives promoted by FISM) and for your participation. The provision of data is optional for the purposes referred to letters c) and d) but, in absence of your express consent, you will not be able, respectively, to receive information about events, initiatives or courses organized by FISM, or the witness and / or the photographic / video reproductions concerning you may not be published on the information channels of the Foundation.

2. Processing methods

The following processing operations may be carried out on your data: collection, registration, organization, structuring, communication, storage, adaptation or modification, extraction, consultation, use, comparison or interconnection, limitation, cancellation or destruction. Your data may be processed by Data Controller through information tools or paper based, to guarantee their security and confidentiality in relation to the purposes of the processing, as well as processed anonymously for statistical purposes.

3. Data retention

Your personal data will be stored in the Foundation's archives for the time necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected and processed, as well as fiscal, accounting and administrative needs, to document our activity, and to respond to your data recovery needs.

4. Data communication

Your personal data might be communicated to the ECM National Commission and to Co.ge.Aps exclusively to obtain ECM credits.
Without your express consent (Art. 6 lett . B) and c) GDPR), the Data Controller can communicate your information to Authorities and to subjects against whom the communication is mandatory by law, or for the achievement of the purposes mentioned above.

5. Data transfer

Your personal data will be stored on servers located within the European Union and will not be transferred to countries outside EU or in any case not subject to the GDPR regulations.

6. Rights of data subjects

You can exercise at any time the rights referred to articles 15-22 of the GDPR. In this regard, we remind you that you have the right to:

  • request the updating, rectification, integration, deletion, transformation into anonymous form, blocking of data processed in violation of the law, including those no longer necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected;
  • have information about the logic, methods and purposes of the processing;
  • receive data in a structured format, commonly used and readable by an automatic device;
  • revoke any consent given in relation to the processing of your data at any time and oppose, in whole or in part, the use of the data;
  • lodge a complaint with the Authority, as well as exercise the other rights recognized to you by current legislation.
